the Cervantes Family

Every single time I see these boys, they are so full of wonder and curiosity. The way they play together is nothing short of precious and perfect and beautiful. I love that I get to photograph those moments between them.
They are so angelic in their world that I am so lucky to be invited into. Their mom is overflowing so deeply with dedication to her motherhood and what that means to her. Its unconditional, its irrevocable, its powerful. Every single moment from the way she perfects every detail of their hair all the way down to the way she holds them when they find themselves crying. She completes everything so perfectly.
Juan is so intentional with everything he does. The way he walks around seeking out that same adventure his sons are looking for. The way he twirls Yzzan around in small circles and catches her when she feels like falling. Its meaningful, wonderful, loving intention.
I know that these two little boys you see in these photos will eventually reach an age where they will remember these things on their own, but being able to create images that will one day fuel those memories will never not amaze me. It feels so surreal to think about adult versions of them talking about these days at the dinner table with their own children. Showing them these exact photos.
