Capturing birth stories in the form of photographs has always been the ultimate goal for me. I have always dreamt of harnessing the very essence that is within a birth space + inside of the person bringing their child into the world. It’s a sense of euphoria that never leaves you.
It is so strong, you can trace it back in every detail long after it’s taken place. It’s in every exhale caught on camera. It’s in every interlocked finger you look back on. It’s in the tiny toes and the surprise gender. It comes rushing back and the waves of serenity sweep you away.
It’s worth documenting. Your birth is worth capturing. It is worth remembering from now until forever.
